Out of the Loop

Well, we had a problem with the power on our laptop, and it had to be sent in for repairs. Unfortunately, this means I am internet-free at home until it is fixed, and I can't design at work, so I am out of luck for the next little while!

Right now I am at my sister's house feeding her cats because she and her family are still at Disney, which is why I was able to give you this little update.

Hope to be back on-line soon!

Purple elements

I love purple, and apparently you do too, because this has been my most popular set to date! My plan is to get out and spend the day in that gorgeous sunshine with the kids (slathered in sunscreen, of course), so I thought I'd post now!

Here are your purple elements - enjoy!

Purple templates

Looks like I've been re-inspired. Must be all those anti-biotics kicking in.
My parents, sis, b-i-l, and niece and nephew all flew to Orlando this morning. I must admit I am a little jealous, seeing as it went back down to 0C again this morning! We, on the other hand, spent the morning not on a plane, but on our bikes riding around our little court with mittens on!

I'm trying to figure out what colours I still need to add - I'm thinking orange, pink, and maybe a grey set. Any other ideas? Please let me know if you think I am forgetting something. Orange won't be much fun - I feel kind of the same way about orange as I do about yellow.

Here are your purple templates - they are 4x6 in psd.

Winter is officially over...

The very last bit of our snow finally melted today! I thought it would take until the end of April (see April 1 post for pics). The crocuses (croci?) are up in my neighbor's garden, and whatever bulbs I planted will be blooming soon (maybe then I will remember what they are).

In other news - it is unbelievable what a small world it really is. The other day I was reading a post on Digitreats, which you should check out if you aren't already a regular. Pamela mentioned where she lived, and it turns out we are nearly neighbors - both in the very same small-ish town. Here is someone I read daily, and it turns out I've probably passed her at the grocery store!

My problem lately is that since I have been "resting" with my 2nd nasty bout of strep in the past month, I have become highly addicted to the show "Lost". I never watched it before, so I found a site on which I could watch it streaming from the 1st episode of the 1st season. No wonder I haven't been designing - Lost is taking all of my kid-free, work-free time!

But today I have for you your yellow elements! Enjoy:)
